Accenture Match Play Betting Tips

Match play tournaments can be an exhilarating alternative to stroke play golf events. Single-elimination match play events encourage more aggressive play, which makes for riveting golf and exciting golf betting.

For professional golf players, a par is not necessarily good enough to win a hole in a match play game. A small error on a hole can be disastrous. So to win matches, players are encouraged to take maximum risks rather than exercising their usual caution. Betting guides between competitors and match play odds can be amended from hole to hole.

A strong field for the 2008 Accenture Match Play Championship is guaranteed, with only players in the top 64 positions in the Official World Golf Rankings battling it out at The Gallery Golf Club.
